FAQ
What is the difference between standard rates and special offers?
Every rate includes the room, breakfast and airport transfers. Standard rates do not include cable car tickets. Special offers include Hon Thom cable car tickets: one for the room, or one for every guest (with a Sun World Hon Thom ticket and the electric buggy between the station and the hotel). Tickets give unlimited rides throughout your stay.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
The hotel’s free car picks you up at the airport 5 times a day (09:30, 13:30, 15:45, 19:00, 20:45) and takes you to An Thoi cable car station; from there the Hon Thom cable car takes you to the island (last ride 22:00). Please register the car 24 hours ahead.
My flight lands in the evening — what then?
From 1 Nov 2026 the cable car runs until 22:00 and the last transfer leaves the airport at 20:45 (for flights landing 19:00 – 20:30) — evening arrivals still reach the island, with no cable car registration. Note the lunch break, 11:30 – 13:30.
Are cable car tickets free for children?
Children under 4 (under 1 m) ride free. From 4 (1 – 1.4 m) they pay VND 900,000 per round trip. From 12 (over 1.4 m) they count as adults.
Can I get an extra bed?
No. Each room takes up to 2 adults and 1 child under 6 sharing the parents’ bed. For larger parties the site suggests how many rooms to book, with a discount from the 2nd room.
Is there a pool or a restaurant?
There is no pool, lunch or dinner restaurant, or private beach. Breakfast is served 07:00 – 09:30 on the 6th floor, and Sun World Hon Thom has a water park (Sun World tickets come with the offer that includes a ticket for every guest).
Can I go back to the island on check-out day?
Once you ride from Hon Thom back to Sunset Town the ticket expires. Check-out at 12:00 falls in the lunch break: take the cable car before 11:30 or wait until 13:30; the hotel stores luggage free of charge.
